Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check in begins at noon. Check-out is by 11:00am.
Q: Does the park allow pets?
A: We are very pet-friendly, and we even have a “Kamp K-9” dog park for your four-legged friends. We simply ask that you keep your pets on leashes, and pick up their poo after they’re done with their business!
Q: What are the park’s hours of operation?
A: The park is not locked at night, so it is accessible around the clock. The office is open from 9am to 7pm (10am to 6pm during the winter), and we fill propane during office hours. Laundry is open around the clock, and bathrooms as well (except for the hour-or-so it takes to clean each, but one bathroom will always be open while the other is being cleaned). The clubhouse is available for guest use from 9am to 10pm.
Q: Can I get my propane filled?
A: Absolutely! While you’re staying in the park, simply put your propane tank out by the fire line at the curb, and our guys will pick it up, fill it, and return it to your site. You can come into the office to pay for it, or we can just charge the card we have on file. Propane is currently $3.05 per gallon.
Q: Does the park have a convenience store?
A: We do have a small store onsite, which we keep stocked with ice, food and drink items, RV accessories, postcards, and some basics for household and hygiene. If we can’t supply you with what you need, there are two gas-station convenience stores within walking distance, and a Walmart just a few minutes’ drive away.
Q: Does the park have wifi?
A: Yes we do! You can find the wifi password on your park map. We also keep the seasonal guests on a separate network in an effort to alleviate traffic on the network you will be using.
Q: Does the park offer cable television?
A: Yes we do! The line-up of available channels can be found on the back of your park map.
Q: What forms of payment does the park accept?
A: We can accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, and personal check.
Q: What is the cancellation policy for reservations?
A: If you have to cancel your reservation any time up to 48 hours ahead of the reservation, there is a $10 cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit will be refunded to your card. If you have to cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, the deposit will be forfeit. (Just a hint: there’s no fee for rescheduling your reservation to a different date, so maybe you can pick a different time to come see us rather than cancelling altogether and losing your deposit…)
Q: I thought Oregon didn’t have sales tax, so why do your prices mention added tax?
A: As an RV park, we are subject to hotel taxes (9.8%) and tourist fees (50 cents per night), which we are required to collect in addition to our prices. When you put down a deposit on a reservation, that deposit will cover your first night’s stay including the tax and fee. There is an additional $1 fee for walk-in registrations, meaning those who arrive without a reservation. (To avoid that fee, all you have to do is call and make your reservation! You can even do it from the road right before you arrive.)
Q: Does the park offer monthly rates?
A: We do have a certain number of sites that receive a seasonal, or monthly, rate. That rate ranges from $350 to $450 per month, plus electric. Some of those sites are on a meter, while other sites are at a flat fee for electric ($75 for 30 amp, $100 for 50 amp). We often have a short waiting list for monthly sites–but remember that everyone here is on wheels, so we do have turnover! To inquire about availability of monthly sites, please call our office.
Q: Can I reserve a specific site?
A: Our reservation system is set up to allow you to reserve a specific type of site (like a pull-through, or a 30-amp back-in), and you are guaranteed that type of site. If you have reason to request a specific site, a specific area (i.e. near the bathrooms), or a specific relative placement (next to someone else with whom you’re traveling), please call our office to make that request. We do not guarantee a specific site–sometimes reservations simply have to be moved around–but we will absolutely do our best to accommodate your request!
Q: What if the office is closed when I arrive?
A: We have a registration kiosk on the front of our office building. If you are arriving with a reservation in place, you will find a park-map with your name on it hanging on the bulletin board on the left-hand side. If you don’t have a reservation, the whiteboard on the right-hand side will tell you what sites are available for the night. Simply fill out an after-hours registration envelope and drop it in the drop-slot of the office door, and you’re ready to settle in for the night.
Q: Can I reserve now for the next Pendleton Round-Up?
A: We keep a numbered list of the people who would like a site during Round-Up, and we begin to go through that list to make reservations (and take deposits) in March. If you’d like to get on that list, we’ll need your name, phone number, email, and size & type of rig. You are welcome to email or call our office to ensure your place on the Round-Up List.
